PRINTING TEXTILES USING THE SCREEN PRINT PROCESS.
Great for short runs - photo realistic detail.
Suitable for long runs - longer print life.
Digital printing is still in its infancy with new machines coming on the market every year. Best used for short run jobs from 1 piece up to 50 pcs. A finer dot pattern can be used in the printing process which will result in higher image quality but the price is paid in the length of time the print will hold up to washings - usually from 25-30 wash cycles before the print will start to fade slightly.
Able to print on lights and darks with vivid colors, this process is great for those wishing to have full color photos or highly detailed artwork on small quantities of shirts.
Screen printing has been around for ages having been developed in early China. It has come a long way in the last couple of decades with the implementation of automated equipment both in the art and screen end along with the actual printing end of the process.
Suitable for longer runs of textiles, the screen printing process will give excellent results on a varied array of substrates. Longer lasting and more durable than digital printing, this is the preferred method of manufacturers and end users alike.
